2 attacks:

  • The melee attack: Mostly followed by the range attack. It's an AoE (Area of effect : able to hit more opponents at once) attack which has a normal hit area. You have to be close to the North Soul before it hits. Though, when he has allready did the range attack on you, it will certainly hit when he's close.
  • The range attack: "Freeze Breath" attack which is similar to Ice wind attack. This attack isn't a damaging attack but a stun attack. It shoots two freeze missiles at up to two targets which will freeze you for a certain amount of time, probably depending on the level of your creature.. This attack can be blocked.

Advantages:

  • He looks impressive.
  • His melee attack has a decent damage.
  • Has a high health.
  • Has a very effective range attack.
  • When he has done his melee attack, he attacks very fast.
  • He's accurate at attacking his range attack.
  • AoE-effect is very useful when it's necessary to hit more opponents.

Disadvantages:

  • He attacks slow overall.
  • His melee attack won't hit very much.
  • His melee attack is easy to dodge.
  • Doesn't have a big damaging attack like the WSO and SSO.

Game types:
1vs1: He's quite useful in 1vs1 and will do even better when combined with another stun creature (ex. Black nak). His range attack will give you the time to get to the opponent and do a high damaging attack. Though, his human form is better overall. He can stun and do a high damage as well. Another advantage is that he probably can't keep up with you. I'm talking about the lack of move and attack speed on a lower level. I guess he becomes useful when he's higher so he will attack and run faster.

Tip: If you decide to use it, use it this way to get the most damage in a short time. Let him do his ice attack or stun the opponent so he will hit his range attack. Now we got two situations :

- If you're fast or your creature is on a higher level you can do a damaging attack when he's freezed followed by a basic so you're opponent won't be able to run away while your creature approach. - If you aren't that fast or your creature isn't high enough you can just wait untill the ice is over, hit one or two basics according to your class to stun your opponent so the creature will have enough time to approach.

Your creature is now able to do his melee attack and you can prepare a damaging attack. This can surely end up in a combo KO.

Golem war: I wouldn't advise you to use the NSO in golem wars. His attacks aren't that damaging and are way more effective in 1vs1. His speed isn't that great either. Though, it can be efficient when he is approaching the golden golem. He will do his melee attack which will hit some players of the other team too who are trying to kill the golem. But still, this can be done by soulcannon as well and his attacks are way more effective.

Stages: FIrst, I wouldn't have recommended you this creature for stages, but Frost<Nova> came with a good advantage. His melee attack will hit more opponents as once and this will be helpfull in your stages. Now you probably think: "I'll use my soulcannon for that". But haven't you allready found out the soulcannon moves way to slow when you are in large maps? Well, the NSO does move fast enough. And so I guess he's effective in stages.

Tip: You can use him as a tank too. On a higher level he has enough health to be attacked by several creatures. You'll be able to do your damaging attacks and he can do his melee attack as well.

Conclusion:
As you can see, the speed ruins alot. But still, I think the NSO is underestimated. He surely isn't the most damaging creature but he's effective in stages and 1vs1. You would be suprised how useful he can be when you'll get him against you.

Buy it or not?:
If you want a OS-creature. I would recommend this one for sure. He has way less disadvantages than the rest of the creatures.
